Robert DeCaro, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
We are delighted to welcome Robert DeCaro, MMS, BSBA, PA-C, who joined our practice in the summer of 2024. Robert brings years of expertise in managing chronic pain, with a specialization in spine and orthopedic pain syndromes.
Robert’s educational background is exceptional for a Physician Assistant. He holds a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Following his PA studies, he completed an intensive year-long Orthopedic Physician Assistant Surgical Residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. This residency provided him with extensive experience as a first assist in hundreds of spine and orthopedic surgeries, giving him an in-depth understanding of spinal and joint anatomy and treatment. Before becoming a PA, Robert gained valuable patient care experience as a Respiratory Therapist and a Naval Hospital Corpsman.
Fluent in Spanish, Robert is known for his empathetic approach and ability to truly listen to his patients. He is highly skilled in performing trigger point, joint, and bursa injections, therapies that he has successfully used to help reduce reliance on opioids and other pain medications.
Outside of his professional life, Robert enjoys spending time with his wife and actively supporting the activities of his four children. He is deeply passionate about pediatric cancer awareness and is a dedicated supporter of Support the Kid, a nonprofit organization that aids children battling cancer.
We are proud to have Robert as part of our team and look forward to the exceptional care he will continue to provide to our patients.
